Designated Supportive Living Level 4 Dementia - Enhanced Assisted Living.

This Silverwillow Lodge includes both a Seniors Lodge and Designated Supportive Living facility. Built in 1977, The Mosquito Creek Foundation owns and operates the Lodge. An addition was completed in 2009 and classed as a designated supportive living facility (DSL) regulated by Alberta Health Services and it’s staff. This DSL facility is home to 38 residents.

Through the support of our donors the Foundation works to enhance care through the support of equipment, programs and services. Items such as specialized patients lifts not only make transferring residents easier and more comfortable for them, it is safer and more efficient for the staff. Rec therapy items and garden beautification provide the residents with enriching activities and a special place to enjoy time outside.
