This year we are thrilled to recognize: BAKER TILLY CATALYST ACCOUNTING FIRM as our 2024 Lougheed Award Recipient

The support of Baker Tilly Catalyst goes back to when the name was Coakwell Moore. Wayne Moore & Gerry Coakwell became supporters of the Foundation in the early day by jumping on board as sponsors of the Dinner & Auction early in its inception and continues today.

Now In 2024  known as Baker Tilly Catalyst, their firm is celebrating 50 years as a proud Alberta business by choosing to donate $10,000 to 5 deserving charities for a total of $50,000. Our healthcare Foundation has been lucky to be one of their charities-of-choice and the gift has been directed to enhancing the lives of our community seniors living in the Long Term Care residency at the High River Hospital and at the DSL Unit at Silver Willow Lodge in Nanton. From music programs to funded outings and therapeutic equipment, the Baker Tilly team is making a real difference in the lives of these residents in the communities they serve every day.

In addition to the financial support, members of their team have provided sage financial and business advice at the Foundation’s Board table first with Wayne Moore acting as Treasurer, followed later by Natalie Malech to today with Chris Alexander just completing his 6-year term.

They are an amazing example of generosity and devotion to their community.  The BAKER TILLY CATALYST name will be added to our Award Recognition Display on the 3rd floor of the hospital.

Thank you!
